About
My nascent research projects revolve around three central interests: Latin America, philosophies grounded in change, and power. Currently, these have propelled me to try and answer two questions. First, how do changing power relations within the Brazilian state, set on by the growing importance of capital over coercion, affect the relationship between state and civil society? Second, how are we to understand, in terms of the (in)active production of domination, the Brazilian state's simultaneous promotion of intensified capital accumulation alongside poverty reduction policies?
